At Littlesleepers in Hamburg, I offer specialized sleep counseling for children, from newborns until toddlerhood. I aim to help parents improve their children's sleep habits to ensure a restful night's sleep for the whole family. If your child sleeps well, you also do! 

I strongly oppose the "cry it out" method, except in cases where the mother is experiencing postpartum depression or postpartum psychosis. In these situations, the well-being of the mother may require alternative approaches for support. I support co-sleeping, but believe it should only be practiced after the first year of life, as this ensures a safer environment for the baby. Safety is always the foremost concern!

There are other forms of co-sleeping that worked really well for me and my son. These alternatives can provide the closeness and bonding benefits while still maintaining a safe sleeping environment.

I offer consultations in three languages: German, English, and Spanish.

In this personalized process, I assess the issues you're facing, explore the various solutions available, and based on what best suits your family's needs, I create a sleep plan.

We discuss all of this during a video conference.

In this one-on-one call, I will first send you a questionnaire. Then, we’ll schedule a video conference where we will discuss the issues you’re facing and how to resolve them.

Here I can determine whether there is a sleep problem or just a small change in the daily routine.

Home consultation

 

If you live in Hamburg and the surrounding area, I can offer you a home visit. Either during the day or at night depending on your needs.

Aiming for long-term sleep improvement.

During home visits, I can assess more deeply what the issue is—whether it's the room, noise, the parents' approach—and based on that, create a personalized solution.

 

This includes a detailed sleep plan and a 2 to 4 hour home visit.

Short sleep Guides

ABC Sleep Guide for 0-3 month old babies 

This guide is for parents with babies from 0 to 3 months. It will help you calm your baby and make a smooth transition from your arms to the crib. I explain step by step how to do it, which also helps to establish good habits from an early age.

With this method, you will NOT let your child cry it out. The 'cry it out' method is now outdated due to studies that showed the potential harm it can cause.
